The Department of Fisheries notifies those wishing to engage in commercial fishing. 1. In the case of permission The applicant shall pay fishing fees and duties and receive a commercial fishing license at the district fishery office that submits the application by 31th March, 2022. If the said period is over, it shall be deemed that such person waives his right from being a licensee allowed and obtaining a commercial fishing license at the place of application and shall complete the vessels marking within 60 days from the effective date of the license.

2. In the event that permission is not granted The applicant shall be able to appeal against the refusal order within 15 days from the date of receiving the order by submitting "pass" the district fisheries office, Provincial Fisheries Office or send a post to the Department of Fisheries. However, the licensee must have the vessels and fishing gear inspected before going for the first time fishing.
