Continue to Drive the Management and Conservation of Marine Resources Sustainably

On January 23th, 2023, the Director-General of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources along with the Director of Marine and Coastal Resources Research and Development Institute and Director of the Marine Resources Conservation Division led the management of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources Discuss ways to jointly operate for sustainable management and conservation of marine resources with the Hydro Informatics Institute (Public Organization) with the director of the Hydro-Informatics Institute (Public Organization) and Deputy Director Hydro Informatics Institute (Public Organization), as well as officials to welcome and attend meetings at the Hydro Informatics Institute (Public Organization)

For this meeting, There were discussions on guidelines for a marine waste management Database system and model for oceanographic research in Thailand development of marine measuring systems as well as educational operations Conservation and restoration of rare marine animals, It is also a model for community management and mangrove forest conservation in coastal areas and linking data from the National Water Data Center to support operations go back and discuss with internal departments to find guidelines and prepare to work together including supporting the performance of duties in every aspect as well as being an important force in education to analyse all dimensions of marine and coastal resource management systems to combine cooperation and work in the same direction and maximize the benefits for the nation's marine environment in a sustainable manner.
