DMCR with Pattani City Municipality Collecting Residual Waste at the Boom in the Pattani Rive

On November 8th, 2022 Office of Marine and Coastal Resources 9 by Marine Resources Conservation Division with Pattani City Municipality Collecting residual waste at the Boom in the Pattani River, Muang District, Pattani Province received a total of 1,850.50 kg of waste, including organic waste.

It was found that the top three wastes with the highest volumes were beverage bottles (plastic), diapers, and foam scraps. This opportunity encouraged fishing boats, chartered boats, and communities in the riverbank areas to collect and dispose of waste in designated areas do not allow waste to be thrown into the river to reduce the amount of waste that will flow into the sea.
