On April 30th, 2022, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources by Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center, Eastern Gulf of Thailand. Survey to assess the status of rare marine animals in coastal areas Chonburi, Chachoengsao, Samut Prakan, and Bangkok utilizing Distance line transect, a distance of 329 km. covering an area of approximately 970 square kilometers. To assess the species, population, threats, and health check of rare marine animals. The survey results found 2 types of dolphins (1) Orcaella brevirostris were found 7 times, and about 38 were swimming for food. and mating behavior (2) Neophocaena phocaenoides were found 4 times, about 17 of which had a fast swimming behavior. As for the results of the health examination, it was found that Dolphins swim in packs feeds normally, and some have rake marks, which are signs of normal herd behavior.
