Explore rare sea creatures Southern border of the Gulf of Thailand

On July 29th, 2022, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources by Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center, Lower Gulf of Thailand Together with Marine and Coastal Resources Office 9 (Pattani) led Marine and Coastal Resources no.204 boat to survey and assess the status of rare and endangered marine species. in the coastal areas of Pattani and Narathiwat by Photo ID method in the area that has been notified and seen covering coastal areas During that period, no dolphins were found. and other rare marine animals But from interviews with fishermen, about 4-5 days ago, a group of 5-6 Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins were found, both pink and gray black. Swimming in groups on the coast of Ban Sapom Beach, Tak Bai District, Narathiwat Province, and the coast of Panare District, Pattani Province. Most of the fishing boats found are of the type of mackerel nets, green back fishing nets. Organic fishing nets Squid Laying Boat and organic fishing boats Therefore, we have coordinated with fishermen in the area to help promote conservation. and report sightings of rare marine animals as well as record the data for further follow-up history.
