Inspect IUU fishing boats in the Chonburi Sea continually in Pak Nam town

On September 12th, 2022, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources by the Office of Marine and Coastal Resources No.2 (Chonburi) led the Marine and Coastal Resources boat No.102 boat to carry out preventive and suppressive operations to support the Illegal Unreported and Unregulated Fishing (IUU) action plan in the area. In the Samut Prakan, Chachoengsao, and Chonburi seas, a total of 7 fishing vessels were inspected, which were Otter board trawls and pair trawls. The results showed that all ships had complete documentation of the vessel's licenses and crew, and no offenses were found in the area. After that, it has been publicized legal fishing waste sorting on fishing vessels and bringing the rubbish back to the shore.
