Deputy Director General, Department of Fisheries Participated in the meeting of the National Fisheries Policy Committee No. 4/21 with Deputy Prime Minister Chaired the meeting along with Director of the Fisheries Product Quality Inspection Division, Director of the Division of Fisheries Policy and Development Plans Director of the Marine Fisheries Research and Development Division Director of Legal Affairs Director of the Division of Resource Management and Measures and related officials join the meeting.
By the meeting Progress has been monitored on a number of issues including:
✅ Resolving the impact of fishing on Marine Mammals
✅ Departing Vessels
✅ Enforcement of laws to tackle illegal fishing and other related matters.
