Meeting to Clarify The Period for Applying for a License in The Fishing year (new) 2022 - 2023

On Monday, 24th January, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the Department of Fisheries, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Fisheries. Chaired the meeting to clarify the timeframe for obtaining permits and guidelines for the fishing year (new) 2022 - 2023, in consultation with representatives from the Fisheries Association of Thailand. led by the president of the association, the vice chairman of the association, the association's honorary advisor, the association secretary, the association's advisor and commercial fishermen, including representatives of the Seaside Provincial Fisheries Office and officials from the Department of Fisheries from central and provincial agencies through the video conference system.

However, at the meeting of the Department of Fisheries, there was an explanation. details implemented in the fishing year 2022 - 2023 as follows:

1. Determine the timeframe, rules, procedures, and conditions for obtaining a commercial fishing license.

2. Guidelines for issuing licenses and criteria for allocation of commercial fishing licenses.

3. Requesting to add another place to be a commercial fishing license application unit.

4. Allocating budget for processing a commercial fishing license application.

In this regard, the meeting explained and answered the questions and pointed out the practice guidelines to create mutual understanding for both the public and private sectors involved.
