Network Saves Chelonia mydas Turtle Found Stranded in Ranot Shore Nets

On 8th January 2022 Department of Marine and Coastal Resources by Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center, Lower Gulf of Thailand Notified by the Rare Marine Life Rescue Network a beached sea turtle was found alive at the beach, Tha Bon Subdistrict, Ranot District, Songkhla Province. The results of the investigation revealed that it was a Chelonia mydas turtle size shell width 35 cm., shell length 36 cm., weight 5 kg., no microchips found nets were found on both front thighs, neck and right hind leg by the turtles attached to the scraps of old nets Turtles also respond well. therefore brought back to the center to treat before considering releasing it back to nature.
