Promote Engagement with Coastal Communities and Network of Partners Join to Place FADs at Rayong

On November 3rd, 2022, Office of Marine and Coastal Resources 1 by Director of the Division for Promotion and Coordination of Marine and Coastal Resources Network and staff of the Marine Resources Conservation Center, Rayong Province Worked to coordinate the coastal community, Suan Son small boat local fishery group, Rayong Province, together with 20 members, jointly placed 30 fish aggregating devices (FADs) from natural materials in the marine conservation area, Village No. 4, Klaeng Subdistrict, Klaeng District City, Rayong Province, as well as clarified and rehearsed information on requesting project subsidies from the Marine and Coastal Department in the fiscal year 2023.

Along with this coordinated the installation of public relations signs about venomous jellyfish found in Rayong province and first aid procedures at Ban Laem Son Beach, Village No. 6, Pak Nam Krasa Sub-district, Klaeng district, Rayong province, in the vicinity of the group and community attractions as well.
