Survive! Generous Network Reports Found Sea Turtle Beached

On 3th December, 2021, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, by Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center,Lower Gulf of Thailand, was notified of a rare marine life beached, trapped in old fishing nets at the beach in Pak Trae sub district, Ranot district, Songkhla Province. Test results are Hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), female, shell length 35.5 cm, shell width 29.2 cm, weight 3.7 kg.

Weak condition, able to submerge well in water. There were scars on both front legs and right hind legs, so the turtles were brought back to the research center to heal wounds and rejuvenate the body until it can be released back to nature.
