On Friday 26th January 2024 the Fisheries Department, the Deputy Director-General of the Fisheries Department Chaired a meeting and gave an interview to the German Association for International Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit or GIZ) online at the Meeting under ASEAN cooperation for the project “BlueFairFish - Fighting Illegal Fishing in ASEAN”
Along with foreign fisheries consultant experts and related officials attended the meeting and presented the progress of the BlueFairFish project, progress in combating illegal fishing (IUU) in Thailand, and AN – IUU
They also discussed cooperation under the BlueFairFish project. They also asked questions and discussed issues of combating illegal fishing challenges in combating Illegal fishing current knowledge exchange operations between ASEAN member countries, Etc.
