On Tuesday, July 26th, 2022, 10:00 AM. - 5:00 PM. and Wednesday, July 27th, 2022, 9:00 AM. - At 5:00 PM., at the Department of Fisheries, representatives of the Thai Sustainable Fisheries Roundtable (TSFR), representatives from departments within the Department of Fisheries High-risk species assessment workshop for Developing Fisheries Standards for Multi-species fish was organized by consultants and representatives from the MarinTrust standard assessors.
Due to the Discuss Guidelines for Developing Fisheries Standards for Multi-species fish meeting between the Department of Fisheries Representatives of the Thai Sustainable Fisheries Roundtable (TSFR) from 8 associations, representatives from departments within the Department of Fisheries, Experts, Research project advisory, Project Researchers representatives and representatives from MarinTrust on Monday 25 July 2022 at The Department of Fisheries.
At the Meeting received advice and comments from advisors on the writing of the Fishery Action Plan (FAP), suggesting the action details should be added to each activity under the Action Plan. The timing of the implementation is also clear and the format of the Fishery Action Plan (FAP) should be revised.
In this workshop, the consultants and representatives of the MarinTrust standard assessors gave good advice to the working group and responsible officers of the Department of Fisheries to comply with the Fishery Action Plan (FAP) and be able to completely close the assessment gap. After improving the Fishery Action Plan (FAP) and having been approved by the relevant authorities. The working group will present the Fishery Action Plan (FAP) report by mid-August to the Standards Agency, MarineTrust, for further consideration.
