Fishery Action Plan Development
On 12th October 2018, Thai Sustainable Fisheries Roundtable (TSFR) arranged the stakeholder consultation workshop together with Department of Fisheries. The meeting was hosted by Department of Fisheries and Dr.Vicharn Ingsrisawang is a president of the meeting. The participant also included Mr.Duncan Leabitter, project manager. Mr.Dave Martin, SFP project advisor, the representative from Thai feedmill association, Thai Shrimp Association, private sectors from fishmeal industry, entrepreneurs related to fishery products and the fisheries experts from universities.
The purpose of this workshop was to let the stakeholders involving in Fishery Action Plan (FAP) development as well as sharing the opinions on the impact of current enforcement from the government and how Fishery Action Plan can improve the fisheries in order to find an efficiency plan for fisheries development.
