Organized discussions to join the Sattahip coastal community to conserve the dugong source

On August 29th, 2022, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources by Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center, Eastern Gulf of Thailand. together with the Sattahip local fishery group, A group of diving boat operators and a network of 30 marine protection volunteers held a workshop on guidelines, measures, agreements, or cooperation for manatee conservation at Sattahip local fishery community, Sattahip Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. on rare marine animals in Thailand Preliminary rescue of rare marine animals and legal knowledge related to endangered marine species area boundary information Manatee habitats and livelihoods and information on the impact of fishing gear on the dugong.

Including hearing opinions on problems in the area suggestions Coordination with the public sector in the conservation of marine and coastal resources with the Samut Prakan Marine Fisheries Research and Development Center to share knowledge and establish guidelines, measures, agreements, or cooperation for the conservation of dugongs in this area.
