The Department of Coastal Marines was Informed that a live Sea Turtle was found Beached

On February 7th, 2023, Rare Sea Creatures Group staff at The Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center in the Lower Gulf of Thailand was informed by residents that a sea turtle was found alive Nai beach area, Pak Trae sub-district, Ranot district, Songkhla province staff, and veterinarians inspected and found a green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas), sex unknown, carapace length 59 cm., width 54 cm., weight 20.5 kg., very weak and dehydrated external parasites were found on both sides of the front oars, and no wounds were found, Therefore they were transported to the research center for thorough diagnosis, treatment, and recuperation before releasing it back into nature.
