The Meeting to Draft Policy Recommendations for Trawl Fisheries Management Services in the Gulf of Thailand from Research Studies and Preparing to Hold a Meeting to Listen to Stakeholders' Opinions

On Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, at the Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University, the TSFR Working Group, the Project Advisor, and representatives of researchers from the project Guidelines for the Development of Sustainable Trawl Fishery in the Gulf of Thailand according to International Standard met to discuss and prepare to prepare a draft of trawl fisheries management recommendations as a guideline for preparing fisheries management policy proposals. In addition, representatives of the research team presented data from the 3-year research study to the meeting to acknowledge the results of the work and discuss preparations for holding a meeting to listen to opinions from stakeholders for the third year, including draft policy recommendations obtained from today's discussions, present and listen to the opinions of stakeholders and stakeholders and present information to the Department of Fisheries and related agencies to consider future management guidelines.
