On Monday, June 12th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Department of Fisheries, the Deputy Director General of the Department of Fisheries chaired the meeting with the Director of the Marine Fisheries Research and Development Division Director of the Division of Resource Management and Measures and representatives from the Legal Division with representatives from The Thai Overseas Fisheries Association to clarify the qualifications and conditions of fishing vessels and their owners who are eligible for compensation from the government that the vessels owner wishes to take the vessels out of the system for sustainable management of marine fishery resources.
