Promote and Monitor the Implementation of Guidelines and Measures to Develop IUU-Free Thailand

On Tuesday, November 8th, 2022, at the Department of Fisheries, the Deputy Director-General, Department of Fisheries chaired the meeting of the working group to drive and monitor the implementation of guidelines and measures to develop fisheries in Thailand to be free from aquatic animals and aquatic products from IUU fishery (IUU-Free Thailand) No. 1/2022.

Along with foreign fisheries advisory experts, the Director of the Fisheries Product Quality Inspection Division, the Director of the Fisheries Policy and Development Planning Division, the Director of the Fisheries Inspectorate Division, the Director of the Fisheries Management and Operation Division Fisheries, and related officials To jointly consider guidelines and measures to develop fisheries in Thailand to be free from aquatic animals and aquatic products from IUU fishing (IUU-Free Thailand) consider assigning responsible agencies, including guidelines for monitoring progress in implementing IUU-Free Thailand guidelines and measures.
