Asst. Prof. Dr. Thon Thamrongnawasawat A marine ecologist and associate dean of the Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University, revealed that Bruda whales are Thailand's wildlife reserves. Found in the Gulf of Thailand, about 50+ of them are found in the Andaman, but fewer. From September to January, Bruda will make a living in the Gulf of Thailand as it is the end of early rain. Freshwater brings nutrients down the bay. Bruda whales follow to eat fish, after which the whales disperse to eat in the outer seas, such as Koh Tao, etc. This year, a group of Bruda whales came to eat around the Angthong Islands. This is a phenomenon that has not been reported for many years, which is a specialty that creates a smile for Thai sea lovers. "From gooseberry turtles to Bruda whales, followed by whale sharks starting to come to Chumphon. And that means a lot to the future of the Thai sea.
