The DMCR Served as Co-speaker for the Smart Marine Patrol Training Program

On June 13th, 2023, the staff of the Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center in the Upper Andaman Sea was the speaker for the Fiscal Year 2023 Smart Marine Patrol training program organized by the Prevention and Suppression Division by Marine Resources Protection Division on June 13th, 2023, at Beehive Boutique Hotel Phuket, Phuket Province.


The objective is to increase the potential of personnel in the qualitative patrol of the sea (Smart Marine Patrol), including the import and update of information to officials of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources to be able to use the knowledge gained to perform duties efficiently with lecture content on the topic Status of rare marine animals in Thailand.

Introduction to the classification of rare marine animals guidelines for sea turtle spawning management and turtle nest management basic knowledge of rescuing stranded rare marine animals and managing the carcasses of rare marine animals stranded and practice at the rare marine life rescue center with practice on the topic of rescuing rare marine animals in real areas and application of equipment to rescued rare marine animals and management guidelines for the carcasses of rare marine animals stranded.
